Begonia grandis are a group of tuberous Begonia from China that have proved hardy in most of the UK. The mid green leaves and heavily veined with red and flushed red on the undersides. The eye catching small flowers are produced from late July to the first frosts. Frosts will kill off all the top growth, but the plant will return in spring with new growth from the underground tubers. We cover our tubers in late autumn with bark chip.
