A Rare tender annual from Central America, commonly known as the Mexican Sunflower. Grows to 1.8 meters in one season and produces masses of lovely orange single, Dahlia like, flowers. A must for the jungle/ tropical planting scheme. Once seen never forgotten.
Plant out once all chances of frost have passed, in full sun, in a light sandy soil with added nutrients. Needs protection from Slugs!
