Trachycarpus Nova vari. Wide Leaf

This palm was found growing in the stone gate area and was first collected as seeds in 2009. It has a narrowish trunk and broad, upright, stiff leaves, with slight white powdery appearance  to the underside. This is a very fast growing palm and easily outstrips T. Fortunei for speed of development. These palms are seed grown here, by us in the UK and represent an exciting new hardy palm for any palm enthusiast .
